Celebrate the arrival of Mr. & Mrs. Claus and their Jeep Jingle parade in downtown Galena. Santa arrives at the Old Market House at 6pm to light Galena’s Christmas Tree.

Galena Holidaze Festival – Dec 2, 11am to 6pm
Enjoy a festive and fun day in downtown Galena with live entertainment, food, drink, vendors, Santa Claus, and more.

Holiday Fire in the Sky – Dec 2, 6:30pm to 7pm
Finish off the Galena Holidaze Festival with a spectacular fireworks show visible from just about anywhere in downtown Galena.

Dark Side of the Yule with Classical Blast – Dec 8, 7:30pm to 9:30pm
Classical Blast melds classic rock with traditional Christmas songs for a unique and uplifting holiday concert experience.

Luminarias & Living Windows in Galena – Dec 9, 4pm to 9pm
Wonder at the spectacle of more than 5,000 candlelit luminaria lining the streets and sidewalks of Galena. Extended holiday shopping hours and live holiday decorations add to the fun and magic. A must-see Galena tradition.

Mistletoe Stroll – Tour of Holiday Houses – Dec 16, 1pm – 4pm
Visit Galena’s Best Bed and Breakfasts and tour their Parlors and/or Dining Rooms while tasting a little bit of the holidays.

Snowflakes & Sweets Stroll  – Dec 16, 12pm to 4pm
Enjoy special holiday treats from local bakeries, confectioners, and others while strolling Galena’s Main Street. Attendees receive a punch card good for 10 sweet treats. A sweet treat, indeed.
