We take what is going on with COVID-19 extremely seriously along with its potential impact on us all.  We would like to share what we are doing in an effort to keep you as safe as possible while visiting our property.  We have always and will continue to have our health and the safety, health, and well-being of others our top priority. In addition to being an Inn, this is our home and our efforts are 24/7.

We are monitoring the spread and impact of the virus and will follow any alternate required and recommended actions from Health or Government officials as they are addressed. At this point, we are closed until May 31st and hope to reopen June 1st.  Through the end of July, we will be relaxing our cancelation policy, allowing full cancelations, without penalty up to 48 hours in advance.

STAY SAFE SPECIALS: From now through July 31st, 2020, any cottage booking is eligible for one of our Stay Safe packages that include either breakfast delivered to your room or a home-baked continental breakfast stocked in your cottage before you arrive.  For guests staying in the main house, the option is available for a Continental Breakfast delivered to your room. Choose one of these rate types or select one of the add on items when you book the room Breakfasts in the dining room will be reserved at a specific time in order to maintain social distancing.

We have always prided ourselves on the level of cleanliness of our property and have always paid special attention to disinfecting any surfaces where germs are likely to occur as well as spaces that are expected to be cleaned and sanitized. Linens are cleaned and sanitized after the departure of each guest. For the time being, we are removing all throw pillows and decorative throws that can not be easily cleaned between guests. In order to better protect the safety of the guests and innkeepers, we will not be performing room refreshes during your stay, but fresh towels, coffee, water, or anything else that is needed will be available for delivery to your room or cottage.

Doorknobs, railings, remote controls, tabletops have always been washed and sanitized but we will be paying extra attention to this including any surfaces a guest might touch like chair tops, window sills and other areas and they will be gone over thoroughly.  Also, as our guests are aware, all food served at the inn is prepared by us personally so that provides us with the confidence that it has been prepared in a healthy, hygienic and sanitary manner.  We are a licensed food service facility and have over 60 years of commercial foodservice experience including advanced training in sanitation and standard precautions. Hand sanitizer is available in our check-in areas and throughout the Inn.

We would ask that no cell phones, laptops or other electronic devices be placed on the dining tables or on common surface areas to help protect others.

We understand that you may want to stay home at this time, but please be reassured that we are doing everything we can to create a clean and safe environment for you during your stay.

Regular hand washing, avoiding skin contact and not touching your face with your hands can and will help alleviate most of your chances of becoming ill. We hope to continue to see you while this runs its course.

John and Jim, Innkeepers.
